Long Distance Rate Administration
This form allows you to view, add or edit the rates, times and type of calls provided by specific long distance carriers. If you want to enter a new access code or long distance carrier you would add it in this form.
Hint: The 'New' button opens up the Rate Administration Wizard which speeds adding a carrier.
Note: New rates and calling programs can also be updated by importing new rate data.
Access Code
The complete dialing code to access this carrier. (i.e. 1010321)
Default Carrier
Check box if this is the default long distance service. The default carrier will be used if there is no carrier for a given call type call time combination. For example if there are no international rates in the rate database then the default carrier will be offered when making international calls.
Company Name
Name of long distance company.
ID
Unique ID for carrier, system generated (cannot be administered)
Rate Program
Program
Name or brief description about type of service offered.
Start
Date the program begins. When choosing carriers, CallWatch will check if the program is currently active.
Stop
Date the program ends. If the program never ends, enter a date far into the future.
Comments
Details about program. Add notes about special volume discounts, high minute minimums, etc. in this field.
