Time Display
The time display field shows the current time. The format of the time string is the same as the time field selected in the page setup menu.

Message Field
Type in a message to be printed on the slip. Upon exiting, the last message entered will be saved.

Note: the maximum printable length of a message will vary by printer and the printer settings selected.

Time Stamp Button
When in the manual auto sense mode, readies the printer to print a time stamp.

Printer Status (Direct Print version)
Connect - shows if a connection to the printer is currently active.

Off-Line - shows that the connection to the printer has failed or is no longer active. Check to see that the power to the printer is on and the cable connected if the Off-Line light suddenly appears.

Cover - the printer case is open.

Print Sense buttons (Direct Print version)
Automatic - Print the time stamp whenever a slip is introduced to the printer. No keys need be pressed on the computer's keyboard.

Manual -print on slip after pressing the button on the screen when there is a slip in the printer.

Tip: If the Automatic sense mode is enabled then a slip is printed whenever a paper is introduced to the printer.
No keys presses or computer input are necessary to print in the automatic mode as long as the DocuClock program is running.
