· If your Connection type is Internet Dial-up
If ClockWatch does not dial your ISP to make the connection to the Internet, then open the ISP access screen by pressing the "Setup" button, and then press the Help->Troubleshooting buttons for more information.

· If your Connection type is Direct Modem Connection
If ClockWatch does not directly dial the NIST using your modem, then open the Direct Modem setup screen by pressing the "Setup" button and then press the Help->Troubleshooting buttons for more information.

Troubleshooting Logging Options 

Setting Log Problems

ClockWatch makes log entries whenever that connection to the timeserver is successful and the time is checked.  If the connection fails to go through, then there is no entry. The log can be found in the location specified, usually under the name logfile.txt in the main ClockWatch directory.

Event Log Problems (CW Server)

Clock Watch will write events to the event log file and on Windows NT/2000 systems to the NT Event log for the specific events you check.

NT Event log problems: ClockWatch writes to the "Application" section of the NT Event log under the application name ClockWatch, or if running the Service, CWSrvc
