ClockWatch for Single-User Computers

Do you need to keep correct time on a single computer?  ClockWatch Pro or Basic is your solution.  This package is designed for home and small/home office users.  If you need to managed correct time across a network, our network solutions page will have the information you need.

ClockWatch will synchronize your computer's clock to standard time, as maintained by timeservers available on the Internet or through a modem dial-up.  To get up and running you need the following:

• A computer running Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000 or XP.
• An Internet connection (browser is not required), or a Hayes-compatible dial-up modem with dial-out long distance capability.  If you do not have these connections, one of these options may work:   
     -  ClockWatch Star Sync GPS Network Time Source
     -  ClockCard Real Time Clock on a PC Card.  
• Correct time zone and Daylight Savings settings in the Date and Time Control Panel.
• 4 Megabytes of hard disk space available for installation, plus 2 Megabytes for application files.

Users on a network that has a firewall may have problems connecting to the timeservers.  ClockWatch Pro can be configured to work around a proxy server.  More information is available here.  ClockWatch Basic cannot work around a firewall

Users who want to run ClockWatch as a service (a feature available with Windows NT/2000/XP) will require ClockWatch Server.

A stand-alone single-user desktop Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP application with a rich set of connection and display options.  This package is a good option if you want to choose the timeserver, automate the time sync settings, log results, connect to the timeserver via modem, or work behind a proxy server.

ClockWatch Basic for Windows 95/98/Me  $19.95
A stand-alone single-user desktop Windows 95/98/Me application with basic time setting functionality.  This package is NOT XP compatible and does not have options available in ClockWatch Pro.  Users are required to run the software and manually choose the "Set Time" option.
